Prayer Garden at General Convention

We are proud to have to have been of service to The Episcopal Church by offering a Prayer Garden in the Exhibit Hall—a special place in the midst of the busyness of General Convention to stop, rest, and pray.

When Elizabeth Hart, co-convener, was asked to comment on the Prayer Garden, she said, “I must say that we “made a splash” at our first convention. This was the third Prayer Garden and the most beautiful of all. Somehow the garden is a symbol to me that among all the craziness of life (and craziness of General Convention), there is a quiet center where God is especially present — we all have a choice –we can try to center in that place or we can ignore it, disregard it, and walk on by.”
