The Episcopal Community

Donations may be made in honor of or in remembrance of a person important to the donor. Names of those so honored are listed on the website of The Episcopal Community.

The St. Clare of Assisi Fund is used for women and children in the United States experiencing major financial need with the collection date set on or near her Feast Day (August 11th). The name was chosen because not only was Clare a woman of prayer, but she also dedicated herself to helping the poor.

Mary magdalene

The St. Mary Magdalene Financial Assistance Fund is used to serve members by supporting the operations and work of The Episcopal Community. It will be collected at Easter in honor of Mary Magdalene being the first to carry news of the Risen Christ.

The Naomi Fund assists members who because of medical situations, nursing home residency, loss of job, loss of home, or difficult life situations are not able to pay their dues. No woman should have to give up her active membership and participation in The Episcopal Community because of lack of funds. The ingathering date for this Fund is Mother’s Day since many of these women have been spiritual mothers to other women through the years. The name of the fund honors the love and support of Naomi and Ruth for each other through difficult times.
