Meeting at Beckwith Jan 15.18 2016
What a blessed time we had as we gathered at Beckwith, and even Bishop Duncan was able to meet with us via Skype. On Sunday we went to St. Peter’s, Bon Secour and met with several members and friends. In the picture above L to Right: Kathy Emmons, Kathy Funk, Andi Silberman, Deacon Susan McKee, Nancy Young, Patti Joy Posan, and Sue Schlanbusch). And of course, no trip to Beckwith would be complete with having breakfast at the Biscuit King.
Our time together was spent in prayer, study, and working together to complete the Policies and Procedures for The Episcopal Community, followed by fellowship, laughter, and sharing.

Becca is many things…an author, speaker, social entrepreneur, founder and president of Thistle Farms and Magdalene House. Thistle Farms is a powerful community of women who have survived prostitution, trafficking and addiction. Magdalene is a private residential rehab center that takes its motto of “love heals” very seriously. Her ministry was featured in the PBS documentary, “A Path Appears.”

“You don’t have to worry about changing the world,” says Stevens. “The idea of loving the whole world one person at a time is a great way to live your life.”
